Ashley and Joe's Wedding

In June 2008, our oldest granddaughter, Ashley, was married. My husband had the great privilege of marrying her. It was an old-fashioned "home-grown" affair held in the yard of their small farm. Everything was home made – from her gown to the invitations and favors and food and the attendants dresses. The weather was beautiful – a tad hot – like 90 degrees – but it was a perfect day. The goats on the other side of the fence enjoyed the day, too, and only ate a few of the decorations off the fence! So we welcome a new grandson to the family, a red-headed mechanical engineer by the name of Joe!
