Judy Smitley describes herself as the wife of one, the mother of five and grandmother of eight. Her portrayal of Biblical characters has brought many rewarding and challenging experiences the past 10+ years. She says, "a picture is worth a thousand words," and the characters she portrays come alive right in front of your eyes. She enjoys the opportunity to weave some of her own humor as well as an understanding of the life experiences each Biblical woman might have had as they play their unique part in the Scripture. An application at the end of each presentation has been applied to make the character more relevant for today’s woman.

Dear Friends,

The fall of 2007 was, indeed, a special time for me. Within a two month period, God put five new friends in my path. These special women, Paulette, Judi, Sue, Linda and Mary, have shared not only their own uniqueness, but their many talents, creativity, giftedness and warm, caring hearts. They have enriched my life enormously and I am so thankful that God has allowed our paths to come together and travel down the same road.

As we looked back at our 2007 calendar, I am overwhelmed to realize we were invited to speak at over 150 programs, retreats and conferences. Our lives have been enriched by the wonderful people we’ve met and had the opportunity to fellowship with. God has told us through the Scriptures to love the people He places in our path and to make the most of every opportunity. The love and hospitality that is shown to us everywhere we go makes that profoundly easy.

This beautiful love story, told by an aging Naomi, will bless your heart. Replete with words from Boaz and the precious cries of baby Obed, the message finds completion in its present-day application of restoration, kindness and redemption.

My prayer continues to be that each of us will be awakened and encouraged by the truths and promises of the Scriptures and that each of us will say, as the disciples on the road to Emmaus said, 'Didn’t our hearts burn within us when He talked with us and when He opened the Scriptures to us?' (Luke 24:32) My greatest longing is to touch hearts and inspire souls with God’s word.
