First Day of Summer Vacation Tea
What could be more fun than a "First Day of Summer Vacation Tea"? Easy, simple and filled with lots of fun and memories, too. The menu is simple--made just for these fussy eaters. It included scrambled eggs cut in shapes with a cookie cutter (the picture shows an ice cream cone and big foot); buttered toast--also cut with a cookie cutter into the shape of a house; molded blue jello; dill pickles on a toothpick and croutons (Doesn't every body eat croutons for breakfast??)

Everyone got a glass of orange juice, their own tea pot full of tea and a special candy treat (on left) to take home. We read several books about summer vacation and talked about the days that seemed like they would go on forever.
